NGC 6871 is the open star cluster to the left of center in the image, and is about 5130 light-years from our solar system. The image also contains a lot of red emission nebulosity, including Sh2-101 on the right side.

Individual exposures were obtained using CCDAutoPilot2 and then sigma combined. The RGB image was created in Registar 1.0. Gaussian Blur of 1 pixel was applied to the RGB image.
