2013 Total Solar Eclipse
  

The 2013 solar eclipse was a "hybrid" eclipse, where the eclipse is annular at the ends of the eclipse track and total nearer the center of the eclipse track. For this eclipse, the track began in the North Atlantic Ocean off the coast of North America and crossed Central Africa, ending in Somalia.
